LUCA FRESCHI

LUCA FRESCHI was born in 1982, first
graduated from Istituto Statale d’Arte in
Forlì, Decorative Painting and Restoration
and then in Painting from the
Accademia di Belle Arti in Bologna.
In these years of activity he has undertaken
a research based on the
otherness of the human figure, on the
personal and collective memory
through the use of the casting technique.
He has participated in various group
and solo exhibitions in Italy and Spain,
among which we highlight in recent
years: the 51st edition of the Campigna
Prize, at the Contemporary Art Gallery
Vero Stoppioni of S. Sofia (FC); Open
12, International Exhibition of
Sculptures and Installations at the
Island of S. Servolo in Venice in 2009;
in 2011 he won the first edition of the
OPERA / Fabbrica, at the Chiostri della
Biblioteca Oriani of Ravenna.

In 2015 he was selected as a finalist in
the 59th edition of the International
Prize of Ceramics in Faenza and in
2017 was invited to Korea to the
Gyeonggi International Ceramic
Biennale.
Freschi has won national awards and
some of his works are part of Italian
and Spanish public collections.
Currently collaborates with important
Italian galleries.
